1. At a glance
This website sets no cookies and embeds no third-party analytics, tracking or advertising services (e.g. no Google Analytics). No external services such as Google Fonts, CDNs or social media plugins are embedded; all resources are loaded directly from this server. For reach measurement we keep a data-minimising, cookieless statistic on our own server (see point 4).
2. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). The host collects the following data in server log files that your browser automatically transmits:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referrer URL
- Time of server request
This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in stable and secure operation of the website).
3. No cookies
This website does not use cookies.
4. Reach measurement (our own statistics)
To improve and tailor our offering, we measure the reach of our pages with our own, data-minimising statistics. This runs exclusively on our own server in Germany; no data is transmitted to third parties.
On each page view, the following are processed:
- the page requested (path),
- the referring domain (referrer, without the full URL),
- a rough device category (derived from the window width),
- the language reported by the browser.
No cookies are set and no persistent identifiers are assigned. Your IP address is not stored. To estimate the number of distinct visitors per day, the IP address is only briefly turned into a hash value with a daily-rotating addition (“salt”); this hash value stays in memory only, is not stored permanently, and does not allow recognition across days. Only aggregated daily figures are stored permanently (such as page views per path, referring domains, device categories and languages).
If your browser sends the “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal, no measurement data is transmitted. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in statistical reach measurement and in designing the website to meet demand).
5. No third-party services
No third-party fonts, scripts, analytics or advertising services are embedded. All resources (fonts, images, scripts) are loaded directly from this server.
6. Contact via e-mail
When you contact us by e-mail, your information is stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and for follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (contractual initiation).
